Instructor Marcus Watts
The senior instructor for the Ching Mo family in Yorkshire is Marcus Watts. He has been teaching in Hebden Bridge, near Halifax since 2006.

Marcus began training with Master Billy Davidson whilst living in Manchester in 1999. As well as attending open classes he soon started to train privately with Master Billy on a weekly basis. Despite moving to away from Manchester he still continues to train both privately and in classes every week with Master Billy believing that this is essential for his own development and, in turn, beneficial for his own students.

Along side his Wing Chun, Marcus has continued to study Dit Da, or Chinese Sports Medicine, a form of acupuncture, massage and manipulation developed and passed down from master to student in the Kung Fu tradition.
"Marcus and Master Billy Davidson"
In 2001 he visited Hong Kong and Southern China with Master Davidson and Grandmaster Samuel Kwok and trained with Grandmaster Ip Ching, In 2002 he became one of Master Billy’s indoor students. Marcus was awarded Instructor level under Master Billy Davidson in 2005 and qualified as an acupuncturist in 2006.

Marcus is passionate about Wing Chun. He believes that as well as being a practical system of self defence, when taught correctly, Wing Chun improves both the body, and the mind and he is constantly striving to improve both himself, and the abilities of his students.
